Lately I've been second guessing the factory tire pressure settings on my Silverado, mine's a 2021 LT Z71 and I'm running stock Goodyears. I've been following the door sticker (35 psi all around), but the tires either feel too firm when unloaded or slightly squishy when I'm towing or loaded down with gear. I know load and terrain play a role, but is there something perhaps I can do to fine tune it for a better balance of ride, wear, and fuel economy.

Yeah, 35 psi is a decent place to start but if you're towing or carrying heavy stuff you might want to bump it up by 5-10 psi.

Have you ever done a chalk test to see how the tire's actually making contact? Or checked out the load inflation chart for those Goodyear tires? That could really help you get it just right

I had the same issue on my '19 Sierra, I ended up running 33 psi unloaded for comfort, then bumped to 38-40 psi when towing, it aade a noticeable difference
