I got a hand me down silverado z71 1500 extended cab 2025 from my late father and ive been driving it for quite some time now. lately ive been really distressed because of a situation i have with this car. Somehow it developed a nasty shaking when i speed up at around 60mph on the front end and theres a strong vibrating sensation on the steering wheel and it feels like my truck is struggling to cope up with the speed so what i do is i pull up to the side and let it rest for a minute before going back to the road and i get a temporary fix. Because of this i replaced some of the parts that i feel like are the issues that are targeted like the rotors, bearings, bushings and some others under the hood. unfortunately it got WORSE! no even if i pull over to let it rest, the shaking happens soon after. and the most agonizing part is the push back on the brake pedal when i start to slow down after the shaking. i am desperate for help here. hope to get some advices on this.

thank you.

Hmm as for me I'm not really sure what this means because I'm just set to have a 2-wheer replacement appointmet.

Okay, so I have to ask is it a type or is it a 2025 model? If it's the second, take it to the dealer to have it checked, it's under warranty. Anyway it could be a number of things like drivetrain, joint, lingage, control arms, braker, wheels, tires, the list goes on.

That's a great point! If it's a 2025 model, you should absolutely take advantage of that warranty and have the dealer check it out. There are so many things that could be causing the issue, like the drivetrain or even the tires, so it's definitely better to be cautious. Any weird, specific noises or shakes that could help figure out the issue?

I get tht you're in a tough spot, but please stop replacing parts based on guesses, cause it's costing you more and making it worse. Given your recent repairs and the new brake symptom, you need a full, professional diagnosis from a reputable mechanic, ideally one specializing in trucks or GMs. This isn't a DIY fix anymore. The shaking and brake feedback could indicate something serious, so get it on a lift and have someone pinpoint the exact problem before you drive it further

Based on the info available, that brake pedal feedback sounds like a warped hub or maybe something's off with the front axle. It's about damn time to get it up on a lift and checked by someone who knows trucks inside out.

At this point, a good shop should road test it and inspect the driveline and braking system together cos something is causing a mechanical load, not just a vibration.
