Pump in my brake what's it called?

hey folks, got an '03 Silverado K1500 LS 4.8L, 4-wheel disc brakes, 116k miles runs like a champ. there's this thing on my brake booster I can't figure it out its like a pump or something. what's it do? old school setup was just a vacuum line from the manifold to the booster, so I'm stucked! anyone know or got a link?

hey man, that pump on your brake booster? i think it's a vacuum pump it helps your brakes work smooth. old trucks didn't have it. try to look on X or youtube for answers. good luck!
