Dash lights acting up

I've two flashing lights on my 2002 Sierra, one right above the airbag key slot and another quick blink on the stereo. No clue what they mean and the manual's no help. Anyone dealt with this

It could be security-related, did you recently disconnect the battery or have key issues? and has the truck started acting up, or are the lights flashing even when it's off?

Yeah, I agree with @Chowchow, those flashing lights usually signal an anti-theft or security system issue in your 2002 Sierra, yo can try resetting the key or checking the alarm system...often that clears it up

Absolutely, that blinking light is usually the car's way of saying, 'Hey, my anti-theft system is a bit cranky right now.' It's super frustrating, I know. But don't worry, sometimes just resetting the key or the alarm can sort things out. Have you had a chance to try reprogramming the key or maybe checking the fuse for the alarm yet?

You've all helped shed some light on what was a complete mystery. The battery hasn't been disconnected and the truck runs fine, so it seems I need to investigate the anti-theft system and try a key reset in the morning.

Thanks for following up on this. All the advice pointing to the security system was correct. I did the key reset procedure and the flashing lights stopped right away and have not been an issue since.
