Only the driver door light cuts out after a minute, then comes back while the rest stay off. He replaced the latch actuator and checked the harness but no dice. Has anyone seen this on a newer model?

Yeah, I've actually seen something similar pop up on a buddy's '21. In his case, it turned out to be a wonky door switch that wasn't fully registering the door as closed even though everything looked fine, since you already swapped the latch actuator and checked the harness, I'd say check the switch position and maybe clean the contact points

That's a common thing on modern cars, if replacing the latch and checking the wiring didnt help, it's often the door control module acting up. Sometimes a software update or swapping that module fixes it. Definitely check if there's a recall or service bulletin for your model.

I haven't seen that exact issue on a newer Silverado, especially with only the driver's door light acting up and then returning.
My first thought beyond what you've done would be to check the BCM for any relevant codes, even if the dash isn't throwing a light.
It might be a ground issue specific to that circuit or even an internal BCM fault if it's truly isolated to that single light acting up and cycling on and off.

We followed the advice here and after confirming the switch was good, we scanned for BCM codes. It turned out to be a corroded ground connection for the BCM which solved the problem completely once we cleaned it.
