Apple car play random disconnects

A few weeks ago I noticed that the wireless Apple car play disconnects are random times. I thought it was my phone so I tried with my wife's and it was the same result. I went to repair both phones and it was the same thing. The dealer said that they need to see what happens, otherwise it's all good, which is stupid because they didn't even want to try and figure things out. So I'm stuck in this situation. Anyone have any potential solution I can try?

You can always start by restarting the infotainment system. I think you'll need to hold the end call button for about 10 seconds or something like that. Check out your user manual and you'll find the steps. Also, does this happen wirelessly only or it's the same with the cable?

Oh, well. I noticed that the random CarPlay drop is a pretty common complaint lately, especially with wireless. Definitely try wired vs wireless to isolate it, and also check if there’s an infotainment software update available since some of those fixes came via updates rather than hardware.
