I'm one of the few that uses summer and winter tires so my new sierra needs a new set of wheels but it also means i'll need tpms and i want to ask if someone can point me in the right direction about compatbility? I never used aftermarket sensosr but i guess theres a first time for everything

As someone who regularly changes tires (I do by 2's though), I understand what you mean. Yes, you will need TPMS. Regarding that, I'm not sure if you're aware already but mostly it's just between 315 MHz or 433 MHz. Since you mentioned it's a new one, you can pick either. If you want to be sure, you may check your wheels as the frequency should be stamped there. OEM is fine.

Many brands offer direct fit sensors that match OEM specs, so check your vehicle's year and model when buying, and consider professional installation to avoid issues, unless youre comfy installing DIY.

Or, to make sure you don't mess things up with compatibility, you can ask for a quite at your local tire shop and choose which ones fit within your budget. I think it's the safest choice.

If youre running separate summer and winter wheels on your Sierra, you'll need TPMS sensors for both sets. Aftermarket sensors can work, but always check if they're compatible with your 2023 model. Most are programmable and pretty straightforward, but its worth confirming before you buy to avoid headaches later.

yeah, the easiest and most hassle free route is to get a direct fit replacement sensor. These are pre programmed for your specific Silverado and will sync right up with the truck's system without any extra tools.
Brands like ACDelco (the OEM supplier) or Dill Air Control Products make great ones. You just have to make sure you get the right part number for your year and trim level
