question about changing the engine

if we were to change our car's 4.3 vortec engine to a 1979 350 block, will it work w the current 4l60 transmission? not sure if it the wirings will have an issue along with the other components To those who made changes let's chat. looking for some advice

without the help of computer support and/or scanner to modify your 4l60e i dont think you'll succeed completely. its best to seek advice from the experts.
